Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-off meeting of the project took place from 17th – 18th November 2014 at the premises of the University of Granada (Spain) and counted on the presence of representatives of all partners (but Rijksuniversiteit Groningen). The meeting allowed the partners to discuss the future implementation of the project in the light of the changes introduced in the original proposal after the approval of the application concerning the duration of the project and the readjustment of the budget.

During the first meeting day, the partners had a chance to establish the timeline and revise content, competences to be developed and expected outcomes of the foreseen train the trainer’s actions. Furthermore, partners had a chance to go over the expected intellectual outputs of the project (publication and website).

Financial and administrative matters were discussed during the second meeting day. In that regard, issues such as the budget approved (vs. original budget submitted), supporting documents for justification of expenses or the reporting to the National Structure, were presented and discussed in detail.

The meeting concluded with additional discussions such as partners’ experiences of good practices that might be considered for the publication; satellite activities that can contribute to the successful dissemination of the project outcomes; or future project meetings/events (e.g. first Train the Trainers Seminar scheduled for February 2015).
